Go more gently…

Remember the last time you got an absolutely lovely present? It probably came wrapped in a plain brown box.  Then, after you opened the box, you  were so excited to see what was inside, you didn’t pay too much attention to the wrapping, the bow,  the care that had put it all together to begin with.  You might have missed the feeling of all that sent it in the first place.

Maybe that’s how things are with thoughts. We move so fast to get something  done  we might not enjoy the possibilities of what we’re discovering. New ideas, fresh insights. Inspirations that come with gentle unwrapping.  Instead, we move to get the problem solved or the direct goal accomplished without looking at the wrapping, all the possibilities that new ideas reveal to us.

Be more gentle with your inspirations. Let them reveal themselves to you. Gratefully unpack an idea, sit with it, – go gently with your discovery. You’ll see more beauty, and more possibilities then you could even imagine.
