Home is the consciousness of good

Home is the consciousness of good / That holds us in its wide embrace; / The steady light that comforts us / In every path our footsteps trace. /

Our Father’s house has many rooms, / And each with peace and love imbued; / No child can ever stray beyond / The compass of infinitude. /

Home is the Father’s sweet “Well done,” / God’s daily, hourly gift of grace. / We go to meet our neighbor’s need, / And find our home in every place.

  1. Love this hymn, love its message. Love its depth. Love its truth. And love the power of understanding this. Written by someone who obviously understood the power of home.

And regardless of circumstances or situations or appearances, this message is profoundly, absolutely, permanently true! Rejoice in this, dear buddies, and love the power of this understanding we have been given.

Our house is no longer standing, but the home is joyfully intact, permanent, beautiful, and filled with all the love of all the reminiscences and memories that we have there.

Please join me in celebrating what we really love. I love each of you so deeply, and more, perhaps, than you could even imagine.

    ❤️Pam❤️

    1. Thanks for your clear sharing that “home is joyfully intact.”
Spiritual memories bring smiles of gratitude and joy.
I always imagined you living high up “on Mount Everest.”
      Endless love.

    1. Hey dear friend…..what a privilege to be learning together. What is real is never lost, and what is unreal never was and so holds no place in us. And we can let the unreal disappear from thought with no place holder. Loving the discoveries of all good! Amd loving you.❤️❤️❤️

  2. How powerful to know we carry all we need within us…not outside of us. your sense of home and what that defines can not and will not be destroyed, burn, or flood.

“Home is the dearest spot on earth, and it should be the centre, though not the boundary, of the affections.
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 58:21)

“The dearest spot” does not perish. Affections remain intact in God’s kingdom and reality – the only reality.

  3. When I felt “stuck” in a “lock down mode at home” Pam reminded me that “Home is within” not between 4 walls. This lifted my unpleasant feeling that I was stuck. She told me that I was never stuck, but free of limitations. This was the best reminder to understand and see that “Home is within”.
