“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.” Matthew 7:12
Most religions have some form of the Golden Rule within their teachings. The idea of do unto others is often thought of in terms of actions or behaviors. Recently, I have also been applying this to my thoughts, of both others and myself.
I have been working with thinking of others in only the way you want to be thought of. Our thoughts are our foundation for both our words and actions; therefore they must be kind, pure, and loving. Keeping our thoughts uplifted about each individual in our lives is prayer and will heal.
Keeping my thoughts gentle toward myself, loving toward myself, is also needed, in my relationship to God. It helps correct inner states of mind that need transformation. Negative thoughts, self-deprecating thoughts toward others or ourselves are not our thoughts. They do not belong to us and they certainly do not belong to God.
My oneness to God, Love, means I cannot be separated from the one divine Mind. I am not outside Mind, Love, and Principle. Everything I express (or think) is a direct reflection of God. If it isn’t good, it isn’t God and it isn’t me.
We should be clear on our definition of God and our oneness with Him. Wrong thinking cannot obscure God’s presence. God’s loving presence is constant, harmonious, infinite, indestructible, and abundant. Our thinking and actions are guided by Him.
Everlasting arms of Love encircle each of God’s children every moment. God is protection, provision, and guidance. God is grace, kindness, humor, and joy. He cherishes each of His unique, individual children. As our relationship and understanding of God expands, the Golden Rule becomes as natural as breathing. We love God; we love ourselves; we love others.

I love this! Where can I get the CD? Thank you so much Duffy. Clearly Pam didn’t corner the market on putting things so “succinctly”.
With much appreciation, Gene M.
